'09Great news for 2010 edition of Birra dell’Anno
After a year off, the prize Birra dell’Anno (”Beer of the Year”) is back. Organized by Unionbirrai association, it’s the most important national accolade for italian craft beers. The stop, probably due to the events that have altered the composition of the association, was used to make the event even more prestigious and authoritative. The most interesting change concerns the seat of the event, which will held during Pianeta Birra 2010, the main Italian festival dedicated to beer.
The jury, that also this year will be composed of Italian and international experts (the composition of which will be revealed later), will meet a few days before the event to decree the best productions in each category. The results will be announced Sunday, February 21, 2010, during an event of great cultural and media impact, at which may participate enthusiasts and professionals, with the opportunity to taste the winning beers.
The brewers present with their stands at the fair, if victorious, will immediately expose the prize, ensuring maximum visibility to their productions. One more reason to participate as exhibitors at Pianeta Birra and to subscribe the beers in the Unionbirrai contest.
